Branding Mark Twain

Exploring what a branding strategy for Mark Twain might look like if he were living today.*

 

 

Many consider Mark Twain’s (real name Samuel Clemmons) novels to be for young adults because his great American classics are mostly consumed in grade schools. But during his lifetime, Twain was a refreshing, funny and beloved voice among adults. His wit was unmatched, but his work also carried sincere heart. Twain was not a humble man and he enjoyed his celebrity and the spotlight that came with it.

To brand Mark Twain as if he were alive today, I created a website that would showcase his books, blog and tours (Twain was a world traveller). I designed a logo using Twain’s actual signature and a hand-drawn mustache.
